Pretty absurd little modern noir. All the classic tropes are there and they're done fairly well. It's nothing groundbreaking or all that memorable, but if y'all're looking to kill some time and want a picture noir fix, you should enjoy.

I may stand solitary, but I consider this motion-picture show a neat homage to film noir. I really enjoyed watching it, and I thought the ending was satisfying. I dear to hate femme fatales and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer does non disappoint me. First I loved her, then I hated her, and I wanted nothing more to see her get it in the cease. The sad affair is--she is so selfish and crazed in this movie--you cannot be quite sure she will pay for her sins in the finish. I say--sentinel it.

I may stand alone, just I consider this flick a great homage to film noir. I really enjoyed watching information technology, and I thought the ending was satisfying. I love to detest femme fatales and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer does not disappoint me. Start I loved her, then I hated her, and I wanted null more to see her get information technology in the end. A Nice Enjoyable Thriller, Which See's Val Kilmer & His Then Wife, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer On The Run From The Cops, Mobsters & A Crazy Killer (Michael Madsen). The Plot Is Decent, But The Performances Especially From Michael Madsen, Make This Film Enjoyable. The Management & Script Are Quite Practiced Likewise. In The End Director John Dahl Uses A Very Useful Technique, With Twists & Turns. A Good Watch From Showtime To Cease.

Practiced point about the motion-picture show...Val Kilmer was in it. Bad bespeak about the film...just virtually everything else. I do acknowledge information technology was VERY suspenseful, and definitely an interesting spotter, only I can't call information technology skilful. I was distrustful of the principal female grapheme the whole time, so I couldn't actually let myself like her. And all the other characters also Val were pretty much pointless or weird (like the psychotic ex-young man of the female character).

Good point about the movie...Val Kilmer was in information technology. Bad point about the movie...merely about everything else. I exercise admit information technology was VERY suspenseful, and definitely an interesting watch, but I can't phone call information technology good. Jack Andrews is a man down on his luck. Recently widowed and drowning in gambling debts, Jack wants nothing to do with life other than to float by and eventually be buried in the plot beside his deceased wife. That is until Fay Forrester turns up. This young damsel in distress asks Jack to stage her murder in the hopes of getting away from her violent criminal of a boyfriend, Vince. Little does Jack know how shut he might come to getting his ultimate wish. Not an altogether boring film, "Impale Me Again" was a skilful way to laissez passer the fourth dimension. Information technology was a very typical noir film, with a very typical pseudo-romance, and an even more typical twist. Kilmer shone quite brightly in this motion picture, despite acting alongside fan-favourite Michael Madsen and Kilmer's stunning wife-at-the-fourth dimension, Joanne Whalley. The subtle and reactive operation given by Kilmer was a breath of life into a graphic symbol who might otherwise take been lost in the ocean of dead-tedious characters. Kilmer'due south talent seems wasted on smaller projects such as this. Yet, t'was good to see Kilmer and Jon Gries pair upwardly again. Lazlo Hollyfeld and Chris Knight together again!

A slightly less refined version of Red Stone West, but all the same a good noir thriller with compelling and sexy characters, just a little too much deus ex machina for my taste.
